Over the past thirteen years, we have invested heavily to create a unified Nautor Swan Brokerage network that is managed from our headquarters in Monaco. This new business unit is a section of the Nautor Swan commercial division and is closely linked with the Nautor family, allowing a close working relationship with the shipyard, Customer Care, ClubSwan and the worldwide network of Authorised Service Centres. These connections allow access to information and contacts that would otherwise be unavailable.
Our sales team is comprised of more than twenty-five brokers operating in seventeen countries around the world, covering all the major yachting regions and excellent representation in the new and emerging markets. Our brokers are specialised in the construction, operation and sale of Swan yachts and have a detailed knowledge of what makes these yachts so special.
Lorenzo Bortolotti
Managing Director
Lorenzo has been a successful Project Manager and Marine Businessman since 1980 while at the same time continuing his career as a professional sailor. He joined the Nautor Swan team bringing with him a wealth of experience in the field of Super Yachts project management. Lorenzo’s background in America’s Cup and Maxi Yacht racing introduced many new clients to the Swan brand quickly became the most active and successful office worldwide.
Lorenzo’s career highlights:
- Founder Manager NORTH SAILS ITALIA from 1978 to 1984.
- Skipper & General Manager of Consorzio ITALIA and AZZURRA America’s Cup ’87
- President of OCKAM Instruments Europe from 1987 to 1990
- Project Manager Composite Yachts – CCYD Shipyard
- Commercial Director Nautor Swan from 2005 to 2008

Thea Shaw
Director of Operations
Thea has been working in the yachting industry for the last 13 years having originally come from a background in economics and private banking. Her passion for sailing has also led her to being a judge for the FFV.
Professional Member of the IYBA (International Yacht Brokers Association).
Nicolò Telese
Charter Manager
Nicolò has been the Charter Manager at Nautor Swan since 2017, bringing together a solid academic foundation and a lifelong passion for sailing. He studied Economics at Università Cattolica in Milan and later earned a Master’s degree from San Diego State University, equipping him with a strong international business perspective.
A competitive sailor at heart, Nicolò boasts an impressive racing record, particularly as part of the team on the ClubSwan50 ‘Cuordileone’, which has won two World Championships in 2022 and 2023. His achievements also include major international victories such as the Copa del Rey in 2019.
Giulia Varacalli
Marketing & Communications
Giulia leads Marketing and Communications with a focus on refined, client-centric experiences. Since 2016, she has supported major boat shows and luxury events, translating the yachting lifestyle into meaningful brand touchpoints.
With a background in Psychology and a Master’s in Luxury Hospitality, Giulia combines strategic thinking with a deep understanding of luxury consumer behavior.
