Having cruised and raced on the vast majority of the Swan line from the Sparkman and Stephens, Swan 36 to the Frers, Swan 112 there are few people in the world today with the knowledge and expertise Keith possesses.

"Being on the water is a way of life. I was very fortunate to grow up on the Jersey Coast learning to sail, cruising and racing with my family and fishing on my grandparent’s 45′ sportfish. As a resident of Annapolis for nearly 30 years has entrenched me in one of the largest most active yachting communities. I look back on what I have experienced and realize the wealth of knowledge and contacts I have accumulated and network I have established; it is truly a unique background. It’s still fun for me, I cannot imagine a better life.”
Jeff Gentzen followed his passion for sailing from Tulsa, OK when he was 21. Finding Annapolis, MD, he was immersed in the vibrant sailing seen and quickly found himself as First Mate on the Sparkman and Stephens 95’ sloop “Valkyrie”.
After acquiring enough sea time and knowledge from a very established captain, he got his Captain’s license and was soon running the beautiful and well traveled Swan 44 mkII “Reef Points”. Jeff had dreamed of Swans since he started reading every sailing magazine he could. They were always the advertisement on the back and his dreams were born. This was just the beginning.
Jeff’s reputation of being professional and hard-working led him to other Swans and was soon running a Swan 601, Swan 70, and recently, a custom Swan 78 (designed by Bill Tripp). His love for Swans did not stop there and even in his free time was working and racing on other Swans including 42s, Swan 56s, and the Swan 80 Chessie.
When he is not sailing, he is pursuing his passions of traveling the globe, finding or cooking spectacular food, or trying to chase down fish with his fly rods in hand. But mostly, Swans are his passion.
